Shark attack lunch!

GabesBabes.com

I saw this great watermelon shark on the Sun Scholars blog and knew my kids would love it!

Mr.S and Miss J enjoyed sticking right next to me to watch the whole process, while the other kids were involved in chores and finishing up some school work. We're getting in the mood for summer and ready to be done with school. I figured this would be a bit of excitement and encouragement to help us keep going for a couple more weeks.

Miss C watched me put it together from the playpen. She was absolutely thrilled with the end result and let us all know it! She told us all about it with plenty of giggles and enthusiasm!

*Because I'm just that kind of a mom I skipped the blue jell-o and swedish fish that the original post called for. I wanted the kids to eat the watermelon and blueberries instead. They were perfectly happy to gobble it up just as I made it!

Oh, and the kids had a great time destroying him when Daddy got home!

  2. Your shark looks great! And, I love how you used the blueberries instead of jello. That's a fun & healthier alternative.
