Oktoberfest

We've been on the road for nearly three weeks, we're home now and I'm ready to blog about our trip!  Our first stop was to stay with the J Family and go next door to a great Oktoberfest party with the R Family!  We arrived in time to help with set up (I think we helped, I held the baby), though I did notice that most of my kids were catching quite a few frogs instead.

Miss C is quite the shy little girl, our friends Miss L and Miss H put her at ease with the wagon rides.  It is such a blessing to watch these little friendships grow.

Mr. R had some great games planned that got us all laughing even if we were not playing.

The chicken dance was a hit, even if most people just watched.

The R Family made some wonderful German food for all of their guests.  It was wonderful food, and we were more than happy to head back over the next day to help clean up not only the yard, but the leftovers too! ;)
