Pulled teeth and ice cream

Mr. S had to have his two bottom baby teeth pulled recently.  All of the older kids have had this problem, permanent teeth coming in behind the baby teeth.  Poor Mr. S, his were way behind.  The teeth just didn't seem to be loosening up; once they were pulled we found that the baby teeth still had their roots.  Mr. S was a great patient.  He thought the laughing gas was funny, he enjoyed watching the movie on the ceiling in the office, and the otter pop at the end was a lovely bonus.

The tradition in our family is that we have ice cream for lunch when someone looses their first tooth.  Mr. S picked out Rocky Road and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.  We turned on Myth Busters (its science you know) and had a fun lunch in the school room.  Mr. K and I shared some coconut ice cream (since Mr. K can't have dairy free and he is still nursing).
