Cleaning out the pantry/freezer

For the next two weeks I'm going to try my best to use only things that are already in my pantry/freezer for meals. The hope is that by cleaning them out now the job will be much easier in July and August when it really needs to be done for the move; but I'll be tired from pregnancy/child birth. By the middle of this month I think I should be able to unplug one of my two freezers in the garage! I did buy a bunch of fresh fruit and we needed to get a few staples like cheese, milk, vanilla and maple syrup, otherwise this was all in my freezers or pantry!

Monday
BR- Cereal (cleaning out my "emergency/snack" stash) and fruit
L-ramen & veggies (ramen is usually to go with the yummy Costco Chinese food)
D-chicken, gravy, mashed potatoes, and biscuits (leftovers from last week)

Tuesday
BR- Baked oatmeal with fresh strawberries
L-Mac & Cheese with corn (had an extra box from Mr. R's birthday food)
D-BBQ chicken leg 1/4s in the crockpot, corn, pineapple

Wednesday
BR- Cereal and fruit
L-pasta and red sauce (how did I end up with so many jars????)
D-Turkey, stuffing, yams, and salad

Thursday
BR-Baked oatmeal with bananas and strawberries
L-pasta and red sauce
D-enchiladas (made with Turkey leftover from Wednesday's dinner)

Friday
BR-Cereal and fruit
L-pumpkin cookies (this will use up the frozen pumpkin puree and some nuts etc from the pantry)
D-sloppy joes

Some of these things were supposed to be back-ups for those days that just don't go they way they were supposed to, others just got pushed to the back of the pantry/freezer and were forgotten. Hopefully I can stick to this plan and do something similar for next weeks meals as well!
